Dating back thousands of years, the use of siege towers reached its height during the medieval period. Siege towers were used to get troops over an enemy curtain wall.
When a siege tower was near a wall, it would drop a gangplank between it and the wall.
Troops could then rush onto the walls and into the castle or city.
Kit consists of 51 parts and has the dimensions 11,0cm x 9,0cm x 17,7cm
