The McDonnell F-101C Voodoo was a supersonic fighter-bomber developed for the United States Air Force during the Cold War.
A variant of the original F-101A, the F-101C featured structural enhancements and upgraded avionics to handle the rigors of low-level, high-speed nuclear strike missions.
Entering service in the late 1950s, it had a top speed exceeding Mach 1.5 and was equipped to carry tactical nuclear weapons.
Though its front-line service was relatively brief, the F-101C played a key role in transitioning the USAF into the supersonic jet age.
