The StuH 42 (Sturmhaubitze 42) and StuG III Ausf. G Mid Production were German armored vehicles used extensively during World War II.

The StuH 42 was a variant of the StuG III assault gun, equipped with a 105mm howitzer for infantry support, designed to destroy fortified positions and provide high-explosive firepower.

The StuG III Ausf. G, the final and most-produced version of the StuG III series, featured improved frontal armor, a longer-barreled 75mm gun, and a machine gun shield for better protection.

Mid-production models included enhancements such as Schürzen (side skirts) for additional protection against anti-tank weapons.
