The Sd.Kfz. 250/3 "Greif" was a specialized version of the German Sd.Kfz. 250 half-track used during World War II, famously associated with Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, the "Desert Fox."

This command and communications vehicle was equipped with advanced radio equipment and antennas, including the prominent "bedframe" aerial, to facilitate long-range communication in North Africa's challenging environments.

The vehicle was part of Rommel's personal command fleet, enabling him to direct operations effectively in the Afrika Korps.

Its nickname, Greif (Griffin), was painted on the side, making it an iconic symbol of Rommel's leadership during the North African Campaign.
