The Defiant, a gun turret-equipped fighter, enjoyed her finest and yet very short hour during the early war clashes with enemy's bombers, it soon became clear however that the fighter is not able to defend the skies against Luftwaffe fighter machines.

And even though the Defiant was not a bad aeroplane at all, it was necessary to find for her a new employment. Some of them went to serve in the target tug role, some flew for the air sea rescue unints and some even served for electronic warfare.

And some remained to serve as fighters, although their working hours so to speak were moved to the night time.

The Defiant NF Mk.I fighters operated without any radar equipment, the later NF Mk.II versions already had these new inventions aboard.

Two styrene sprues and one with clear parts are joined by a set of(3D-Printed) radar antenna arrays and a sheet of decals that enable you to make one of three all-black painted Defiants.

- The only Defiant NF Mk.II on the market
- 3D-printed radar antennae already contained in the kit.
