Miniart 1/35 German Tractor D8506 with Trailer & Crew # 35314
Heinrich Lanz AG in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, produced the Lanz Bulldog tractor.
The Bulldog was first created in 1921, and several versions were made until 1960, one of which was the Lanz Bulldog D 9506.
In 1956, John Deere purchased Lanz and began referring to the Lanz product range as "John Deere-Lanz."
The Lanz name dropped out of favour a few years after the Bulldog was withdrawn.
With almost 220,000 units produced throughout its extended production run, the Lanz Bulldog was one of the most popular German tractors.
Even today, the term "Bulldog" is commonly used in Germany as a synonym for tractors, particularly in Bavaria.
