The Heinkel He-111H-8 with Anti-Barrage Balloon Paravane was a variant of the He-111 bomber aircraft used by the German Luftwaffe during World War II.

This aircraft was modified with an anti-barrage balloon paravane, which was a large metal frame that was attached to the underside of the aircraft's fuselage.

The paravane was used to cut the cables of barrage balloons, which were large balloons tethered to the ground and designed to prevent low-flying aircraft from attacking.

The He-111H-8 was one of the most widely used variants of the He-111 bomber, and it saw extensive use in the Battle of Britain and other air campaigns.

The anti-barrage balloon paravane was a key addition that allowed the aircraft to operate more effectively in areas where barrage balloons were deployed.

In addition to the paravane, the He-111H-8 was equipped with four engines and could carry a range of bombs and other weapons.

It had a crew of five, including a pilot, co-pilot, navigator, radio operator, and gunner.

Despite being a versatile and heavily used aircraft, the He-111H-8 was ultimately outmatched by newer and more advanced Allied aircraft as the war progressed.

Nevertheless, its anti-barrage balloon paravane represented an innovative solution to a significant obstacle faced by the German Luftwaffe during the early years of the war.
