Hasegawa 1/48 A-7E Corsair II # PT047
The A-7E Corsair II was a carrier-capable, subsonic attack aircraft developed by Ling-Temco-Vought for the U.S.
Navy. Introduced in the late 1960s, it was designed for precision ground-attack missions.
Powered by an Allison TF41 turbofan engine, the A-7E featured advanced avionics for its time, including a heads-up display (HUD), inertial navigation system (INS), and a digital weapons delivery system.
It was armed with a M61 Vulcan 20mm cannon and had multiple hardpoints for bombs, missiles, and other ordnance.
Renowned for its durability, range, and accuracy, the A-7E played a key role in Vietnam, Desert Storm, and other conflicts before retiring in the 1990s.
