The Mikoyan MiG-21MF was a supersonic fighter aircraft developed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War era.

It was introduced in 1965 and was an improved version of the earlier MiG-21 series.

The MiG-21MF had a maximum speed of around 2,200 km/h and a range of about 1,200 km.

The aircraft was powered by a single engine and had a single 23mm cannon and the ability to carry air-to-air missiles.

The MiG-21MF was used primarily as an interceptor, designed to engage and shoot down enemy aircraft at high altitudes and speeds.

It was used extensively by the Soviet Union and its allies during the Cold War and saw action in several conflicts, including the Vietnam War, the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, and the Yom Kippur War.

Despite its success in combat, the MiG-21MF had several limitations, including a limited radar range and poor avionics, which made it vulnerable to more advanced fighter aircraft.
