The Messerschmitt Bf-110C was a twin-engine heavy fighter aircraft used by Germany during World War II.

It was designed to provide air cover for German bombers, as well as to engage in ground attack missions.

The Bf-110C was first introduced in 1939 and featured a crew of two - a pilot and a radio operator/gunner.

It was armed with a variety of guns and cannons, including two 20 mm cannons and four 7.92 mm machine guns.

The aircraft also had a maximum speed of 560 km/h (348 mph) and a range of 2,410 km (1,500 mi).

Despite its impressive specifications, the Bf-110C was not as successful in combat as the Germans had hoped.

It was initially used as a heavy fighter escort for German bombers, but it was vulnerable to enemy fighters due to its size and lack of maneuverability.

In addition, the Bf-110C was often outmatched by more agile and faster single-engine fighters, such as the Spitfire and Hurricane.

Nonetheless, the Bf-110C was used in a variety of roles throughout the war, including ground attack missions and night fighting.

It was also modified to carry bombs and torpedoes, and it saw action in the Mediterranean and Eastern Fronts.

Despite its mixed success in combat, the Bf-110C remains an important aircraft in the history of aviation, and it served as a precursor to later heavy fighter designs.
