AK Interactive 3rd Gen MERDC Camouflage Colors # 11653

A 3rd Generation acrylic paint set featuring the eight colours that are essential for reproducing MERDC (Mobility Equipment Research and Development Center) camouflage patterns applied to US Army vehicles from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s.

Eight different patterns for use in various terrain and weather conditions were developed and all but one (Arctic White which was simply white overall) consisted of four colours: in theory, colours no.1 and no.2 each covered 45% of the vehicle’s surface, and colour no.3 and no.4 each covered 5%.
